Finnegan’s World – Standard Terms & Conditions

By completing a booking, registering an account, or purchasing a play session, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Your acceptance will apply to all future visits and purchases unless and until these Terms & Conditions are updated.

Finnegan’s World reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website and displayed within the venue. Continued use of our facilities constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

1. Bookings

  • Soft play sessions at weekends must be booked in advance through our website or at the venue.

  • An enquiry or message alone does not guarantee a weekend booking – confirmation will be sent once payment is received (where applicable).
     

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made with 48 hours’ notice or more may be eligible for a refund or reschedule.

  • No-shows or late cancellations are non-refundable.

  • Birthday parties require 7 days’ notice for cancellations or changes.
     

3. Parental Responsibility

  • Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.

  • Please supervise your child in the play area and café.

  • Finnegan’s World accepts no liability for lost or damaged personal items brought into the venue.
     

4. Pricing

  • Prices for soft play sessions, parties, and café items are clearly displayed and updated regularly.

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT, where applicable.
     

5. Play Area Rules

  • Our soft play is designed for children aged 0–7 years only, under 125cm in height. At present, for safety and comfort, we are limited to 16 children age 2-7, 6 toddlers age 10 months-23 months, and 5 babies under 10 months. Adults visiting are limited to 30 in total, one per child, during busy times (at staff discretion).

  • Children must wear socks at all times – no shoes or bare feet allowed in the play areas. We have some available for purchase when you arrive.

  • Older siblings are welcome in the café but should not use the soft play equipment.

  • Parents must ensure that their children play safely and respectfully.
     

6. Photography & Social Media

  • You are welcome to take photos of your child, but please respect the privacy of others.
    We may occasionally photograph the space for our marketing. Consent will be requested before any identifiable images are shared.
     

7. Behaviour Policy

  • Finnegan’s World is a safe, welcoming space. We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving inappropriately to leave.

  • Rudeness or aggressive behaviour towards staff or any adult or child on the premises will not be tolerated.
     

8. Allergies & Health

  • Please notify us of any allergies or medical conditions when booking sessions where your child attends without you.

  • This information will be held securely for up to 1 month.
     

9. Accessibility

  • We welcome all families and will do our best to accommodate any additional needs – just let us know in advance.

  • We can accommodate service animals, but not pets.
     

10. Updates

  • These Terms & Conditions are subject to change. The most recent version will always be available on our website and at reception.

Finnegan’s World Play Pass – Terms & Conditions

1. General

  • The Finnegan’s World Play Pass is a monthly subscription that provides access to a set number of weekday soft play sessions at Finnegan’s World.

  • By purchasing or using a Play Pass, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Play Passes are intended for personal use only and are not for resale.

 

2. Pass Types & Inclusions

Little Explorer Pass

  • £27 per month paid via Direct Debit

  • Includes 4 standard soft play sessions per calendar month

Big Adventurer Pass

  • £54 per month paid via Direct Debit

  • Includes 8 standard soft play sessions per calendar month

Each soft play session:

  • Is 1 hour in duration

  • Is valid for standard soft play entry only

 

3. Validity & Usage

  • Play Passes are valid Monday to Friday only.

  • Play Passes cannot be used on weekends, bank holidays, or public holidays.

  • Sessions must be used within the same calendar month and do not roll over.

  • Unused sessions are forfeited at the end of each month and are non-refundable.

 

4. Eligibility & Transferability​

  • Play Passes are non-transferable but may be shared between children, siblings, or families.

  • Proof of identity may be requested to verify eligibility.

 

5. Booking & Availability

  • All sessions are subject to availability and capacity limits.

  • Advance booking may be required during busy periods.

  • Finnegan’s World reserves the right to close sessions for:

    • Private hire

    • Parties

    • Special events

    • Maintenance or unforeseen circumstances

No additional sessions or refunds will be issued in these cases.

 

6. Exclusions

Play Passes cannot be used for:

  • Party bookings or private hire

  • Classes, workshops, or special events

  • Exclusive hire sessions

  • Café purchases or retail items

Play Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, promotion, loyalty scheme, or gift card unless explicitly stated.

 

7. Payment & Renewal

  • Single month Play Passes are charged up front and cannot be cancelled.

  • Recurring Play Passes are charged monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.

  • Payment is taken via the payment method provided at sign-up.

  • Prices may be reviewed periodically; any price changes will be communicated in advance.

 

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Play Passes can be cancelled in line with the cancellation process outlined at the point of purchase.

  • No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for:

    • Unused sessions

    • Missed sessions

    • Cancellations made partway through a billing month

 

9. Misuse & Termination

  • Finnegan’s World reserves the right to suspend or cancel a Play Pass without refund if misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms & Conditions is suspected.

  • Misuse includes, but is not limited to, sharing passes or attempting to use passes outside permitted days.

 

10. Changes to the Play Pass

  • Finnegan’s World reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Play Pass scheme at any time with reasonable notice.

  • Any changes will not affect active passes already purchased for the current billing month.

 

11. Liability

  • Standard soft play Terms & Conditions apply to all Play Pass sessions.

  • Children must be supervised in accordance with Finnegan’s World safety rules at all times.

Finnegan’s World Gift Cards – Terms & Conditions

1. General

  • Finnegan’s World gift cards are valid for standard soft play sessions only.

  • Gift cards are sold in multiples of £9, each £9 representing one 1-hour soft play session.

  • By purchasing or using a gift card, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Validity

  • Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Any unused value after the expiry date will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

  • Expiry dates cannot be extended.

 

3. Redemption

  • Gift cards may be redeemed in store or online against standard soft play sessions only.

  • Gift cards must be used as full payment for a soft play session and cannot be used as part payment.

  • Gift cards must be presented at the time of booking or entry and cannot be applied retrospectively.

 

4. Restrictions

  • Gift cards cannot be used for:

    • Party bookings or private hire

    • Café or retail purchases

    • Events, classes, or special sessions

  • Gift cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Gift cards are non-transferable and may not be resold.

  • Gift cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, or discount unless explicitly stated.

  • Gift cards cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards.

 

5. Availability & Booking

  • All soft play sessions are subject to availability and capacity limits.

  • Advance booking may be required during peak periods.

 

6. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards

  • Gift cards should be treated like cash.

  • Lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed gift cards cannot be replaced or refunded.

  • Finnegan’s World is not responsible for unauthorised use of a gift card.

 

7. Refunds

  • Gift cards are non-refundable, except where required by law.

  • If a booked session paid for with a gift card is cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy, the session may be reissued at our discretion.

 

8. Fraud & Misuse

  • Finnegan’s World reserves the right to refuse acceptance of a gift card if fraud or misuse is suspected.

  • Altered, defaced, or counterfeit gift cards will be void.

 

9. Changes to Terms

  • Finnegan’s World reserves the right to amend or withdraw gift card terms at any time without prior notice.

  • Any changes will not affect gift cards already purchased.

Finnegan’s World – Party Hire Terms & Conditions

 

General

  • All party booking enquiries must be made via email stating ‘Party Booking Enquiry’ in the subject line and sent to info@finnegansworld.co.uk.

  • The age range our frame can accommodate is the same as our soft play sessions, 0-7 years old.  Please talk to us about any older siblings you wish to attend.

  • Our parties attract a minimum hire charge for exclusive use of the space.  Parties can be scheduled for 1 hour (excludes food, just cutting Birthday Cake and party bags if required), 1.5 hours or 2 hours (both options include food).  Please ensure prompt arrival and departure.

  • A maximum number of 27 children and 30 adults can be accommodated but note that this requires a different number of age ranges (Baby Area – maximum of 5, Role Play Area – maximum of 8, Climbing Area – maximum of 14).  If all children are using just the role play area, it will be too crowded, and we reserve the right to ask parents to move their children to different areas.

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure the date and time requested.  The remaining balance is required 7 days prior to the date of the event.  Important Note:  If full payment has not been received within 3 full days prior to the event, your booking may be cancelled, and the deposit will not be refunded.  Once the deposit had been paid, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy detailed on our website.

  • You must confirm the number of children and adults attending 1 week prior to the event.

  • Our packages include food for children only, and decorations. For self-catering, please also provide your decorations.

  • Various upgrades are available; Entertainer, Party Bags, Food for Adults.

  • Should your celebration need to be cancelled due to severe illness or injury, severe weather conditions, we will endeavour to reschedule your booking on a suitable date. 

  • In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any aspect of your celebration, please ask to speak to a member of staff on the day.  Regrettably, Finnegan’s World cannot rectify any issues or problems after the event and will not consider any refunds if issues are not raised on the day.

 

Health and Safety

  • You are required to provide a minimum of one adult guardian per 5 children.  However, no more than 1 adult can attend per child to avoid overcrowding.

  • You must inform us of any allergies your guests have so we can cater to these accordingly.

  • We do not permit the use of party poppers, streamers, glitter or pinatas.  Only balloons we provide are permitted.

  • Please do not allow any attendees (adults or children) to sit or lean on the tables.  We will not be liable for any accident resulting from misuse of furniture.

  • Socks must be worn on the play frames at all times.

  • By booking a party with us you are confirming that all attendees have no preexisting condition that may prevent them from using our equipment or place them at any additional risk.

  • Finnegan’s World reserves the right to remove any adult or child from the party or facility if they are rude, verbally or physically aggressive or continually disobey the host.

  • By paying a party booking deposit, you are agreeing to adhere to the Finnegan’s World Terms and Conditions and Softplay Rules.  The Softplay Rules can be viewed here.  

 

On the Day

  • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the party start time. If you arrive earlier than this, you may be asked to wait outside or in your car until such time as your Host is ready to sign you in.

  • A Host will be assigned to your celebration for the duration of your stay. However, please note they may be helping out in other areas whilst the children are playing.

  • When the children are asked to come off the play frames (for food to be served), please assist the Host in gathering all of the children together promptly and take them to your allocated room/area.

  • Unless pre-arranged, you are not permitted to bring your own food or drink into Finnegan’s World (including alcohol), only a pre-arranged Birthday Cake. All food allergies alongside the child’s name, must be advised beforehand.

  • The children’s food will be served in the final half an hour of the party.

  • Any adult food platters ordered will be served 30 minutes after the party start time.

  • At the end of the event, you are kindly asked to ensure all guests depart the facility promptly, within a 10-minute grace period.

  • Upon leaving the room, please ensure children are escorted directly to the front door to exit the building. Your co-operation is vital to ensure children do not return to the play areas.

  • Please ensure each child is signed in and out before leaving the building.

  • All additional charges incurred on the day must be paid at the cafe before departure.

  • We may update our Website from time to time and may change the content at any time without notice. Please note that any of the content on our Website may be out of date at any given time, and we do not guarantee that our Website, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions. Our Website is made available free of charge.

Party discount period - Terms & Conditions

  • Discount: 10% off the hire fee for any exclusive or semi-private party booking made with code PARTYNY.

  • Booking Period: Offer valid for bookings made between 9 January and 31 January 2026 (inclusive).

  • Party Date: Parties can take place any time up to 31 December 2026, subject to availability.

  • How to Redeem: Use code PARTYNY at the time of booking (online or by email). Discount must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added retrospectively.

  • Exclusions: Offer does not apply to general play sessions, café purchases, classes, or special events not classified as party bookings.

  • Payment: Standard booking deposit and payment terms apply.

  • Non-Transferable: Discount has no cash value and cannot be combined with any other promotion, voucher, or discount.

  • Right to Withdraw: Finnegan’s World reserves the right to withdraw, extend, or amend this offer at any time without prior notice.

Party referral - Terms & Conditions

Refer a friend to host a party at Finnegan’s World and enjoy complimentary soft play sessions as a thank you.

 

1. The Promoter

The referral scheme is operated by Finnegan’s World, 41 The Broadway, West Ealing.

 

2. Eligibility

  • The referrer must be an existing or previous customer of Finnegan’s World.

  • The referred customer must be new to Finnegan’s World party bookings (i.e. not previously booked a party with us).

  • The referral must be made before the referred party booking is confirmed.

 

3. How the Scheme Works

  • The referrer must ensure the referred customer mentions the referrer’s name at the time of enquiry or booking.

  • Referral rewards are issued only once the referred party has taken place and been paid for in full.

  • Self-referrals are not permitted.

 

4. Referral Rewards

  • If the referred customer books a 1.5-hour party, the referrer will receive 3 complimentary soft play sessions.

  • If the referred customer books a 2-hour party, the referrer will receive 5 complimentary soft play sessions.

Each complimentary soft play session:

  • Is valid for one child

  • Is 1 hour in duration

  • Has a retail value of £9 per session

 

5. Use of Complimentary Sessions

  • Complimentary soft play sessions are valid for standard soft play entry only.

  • Sessions are subject to availability and normal capacity limits.

  • Sessions must be redeemed within 3 months of issue, unless otherwise stated.

  • Complimentary sessions have no cash value and are non-transferable.

  • Complimentary sessions cannot be used for parties, private hire, events, or classes.

  • Complimentary sessions cannot be exchanged, refunded, or used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

 

6. Limits

  • There is no limit to the number of referrals a customer may make; however, Finnegan’s World reserves the right to cap rewards where abuse of the scheme is suspected.

  • Only one referrer may be credited per party booking.

 

7. General

  • Finnegan’s World reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the referral scheme at any time without prior notice.

  • Any misuse of the scheme, including false or misleading referrals, will result in disqualification from the scheme and forfeiture of rewards.

  • Finnegan’s World’s decision regarding the referral scheme is final.

Promotion Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

  • This promotion is run by Finnegan’s World, 41 Broadway, West Ealing W13 9DD.

2. Eligibility

  • The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over who book a children’s party at Finnegan’s World during the promotional period.

3. Promotional Period

  • The promotion runs from the date of announcement until the booking that marks Finnegan’s World’s 100th confirmed party booking. Finnegan’s World reserves the right to close the promotion earlier if required.

How to Enter

4. To enter, customers must:

  • Book a children’s party at Finnegan’s World during the promotional period, which must be held before 31st December 2026.

  • Pay the required deposit and secure a confirmed party date

All qualifying bookings will be automatically entered into the prize draw. No separate entry is required.

5. The Prize
One winning booking will receive a full refund of the total amount paid for their party booking.

  • The refund applies only to the standard party package booked.

  • Optional extras, add-ons, or third-party services may be excluded at Finnegan’s World’s discretion.

6. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible bookings once the 100th party booking milestone is reached.

  • The draw will take place within 14 days of the milestone being achieved.

7. Refund Process

  • The winning party must take place as scheduled.

  • The refund will be processed within 14 days after the party event date has passed.

  • If the winning booking cancels their party, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner may be drawn.

8. Cancellations & Changes

  • Standard Finnegan’s World party booking Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings. This promotion does not alter cancellation policies or payment terms.

10. General
