Soft Play Rules

Supervision
-
All children must be supervised at all times and remain the responsibility of the supervisors they attend with.

Visits to the toilet facilities must be supervised for children of any age.
-
We do not currently provide any supervisory services.
Capacity
-
All visitors, big and little, must be booked in, as well as buggy parking!
-
We cannot accommodate more than 27 children in the soft play frame at any one time, for fire and insurance purposes. Do not ask us to exceed this number.
-
Only 1 adult can attend with 1 child or more. We cannot accommodate more than 1 adult per child in the seating area per session.

For buggy parking - please bring foldable buggies and storage bags.

Please use coat hooks and shoe racks to store items - Finnegan's World is not responsible for your items, please keep an eye on them.
Sickness
-
Children who are unwell should not enter the play area. Talk to us about our refund policy in the event your child becomes unwell, after you have booked, on arrival or during a session.
Hygiene
-
Good hygiene is incredibly important to avoid spreading germs. Please ensure little (and big!) faces, hands and bodies are clean before entering Finnegan’s World.

Children should use the toilet and wash their hands before entering the play area.
-
Please inform us of any accidents requiring clean ups immediately.
Tolerance
-
Be tolerant of other’s accessibility requirements.
Clothing
-
Remove shoes before entering the play area. Clean socks must be worn at all times - we have some available for purchase if needed.

Loose comfortable clothing covering arms and legs is recommended for ease of movement and modesty. Clothes with ropes and cords should not be worn in the play area.

Leave badges, watches and jewellery with supervisors. Glasses should only be worn if used with a retainer and shatter proof lenses.
Safety

Do not play in front of slide exits.

No sharp objects may be taken into the play area.

No food, drinks, sweets or chewing gum should be taken into the play area.

It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or system structure.

Objects and toys should not be thrown at each other.

Children should not bite or hit each other.

Please ensure your child is playing in the age-appropriate area. The baby area is for 0–2-year-olds only. We reserve the right to ask you to leave an area if your child is too old.

It is forbidden to smoke or play with fire within the play area.
-
In case of a problem, or accident, contact a member of staff, identifiable by white t-shirts sporting our logo.

We operate a zero-tolerance policy. Any swearing, threats, verbal abuse or acts of violence will NOT be tolerated and will be recorded on CCTV and reported to the police. Offenders will not be permitted to return to Finnegan’s World.

Inform us if you feel uneasy or unsafe about any situation you are witnessing between supervisors and children.

In the event of an emergency, please evacuate by the nearest door. We have 2 fire exits; the main front door and another at the rear of the property. Do not be afraid to be the first to call 999, 112 or even 911 in an emergency or suspected emergency. You do not have to wait to ask staff if there is any kind of threat to anyone’s safety.

Do not use the rear fire exit for general use. This exit is only to be used in the event of an emergency.
Privacy

Do not take photos or videos of children you are not supervising.
Refreshments
-
Only consume refreshments purchased at Finnegan’s World in the café seating area.
Stealing
-
Do not remove any toys, equipment or products from Finnegan’s World unless they have been purchased from us.
Dogs
-
We can only accommodate service animals, not pets, due to our limited capacity and for the safety of our visitors.
